Martin Krallinger - basic info
I did my master (Diplomstudium) thesis in Genetics with focus in bioinformatics (Diplomarbeit) at the Manfred Sippl group (Center of Applied Molecular Engineering, CAME) Department of Molecular Biology, Division of Bioinformatics, University of Salzburg, Austria. My
main research interests are related to text mining, information extraction (IE),
Information retrieval (IR) andcomputational linguistics (Natural Language
Processing, NLP) applied to the biomedical and molecular biology domain. I am also interested in
expression array bioinformatics (clustering) and ontologies in biology and medicine. I am
further interested in transmembrane proteins (analysis, prediction, structure)
and cellular localization prediction (e.g. signal peptide prediction).
