Abstracts submitted for SAC-CASP7
The Origins of SAC-CASP:
Following suggestions raised at CASP4, an addendum meeting for students
and post-docs was held immediately following CASP5 at the Asilomar
Conference Center, December 5-6, 2002. The meeting featured a large
number of short, informal talks and time for focused discussions. The
meeting was very successful, participants particularly appreciated the
chance to discuss details of methods and implementations more
thoroughly than was possible at CASP. SAC-CASP was repeated at CASP6.
What SAC-CASP7 will be:
As in CASP, there will be presentations and discussion forums.
However, unlike CASP, participation will be restricted to just
students, post-docs and technicians.
Implementation:
SAC-CASP7 will last approximately a day and a half, starting the day that CASP itself finishes.
Participants are invited to submit an abstract containing an outline of a presentation (roughly 1000 words). Talks will be approximately 15-20 minutes long, and there will be ample time for questions. Up to 20 abstracts will be selected for presentation at the meeting, the rest will be taken into consideration for a poster session. Abstract selection will be at the organisers' discretion.
