PLMItRNA is a database developed to facilitate retrieval of information on the distribution of tRNA molecules and genes in mitochondria of green plants (higher plants and green algae) and Rhodophytae and Stramenopiles algae. Currently PLMItRNA contains 452 entries for 436 genes and 16 tRNA sequences identified among 25 higher plants, eight green algae, four red algae (Rhodophytae) and two Stramenopiles. Last updating has been realised in July 2000, by SRS and FastA analysis of the EMBL database [F. Damiano et al., 2001 Database Issue of Nucleic Acids Research].
