To facilitate studies of their structural and biological properties, Replication of most of these RNAs involves a common DNA-independent rolling circle mechanism. In addition to the sequences themselves, many entries include additional data; e.g., positions of self-catalytic domains, computer-generated most stable secondary structures, and multiple sequence alignments. Links are provided to the original GenBank, EMBL, and DDBJ records as well as the mfold server maintained by Dr. Michael Zuker. This online database is available on the World Wide Web at http://nt.ars-grin.gov/subviral/
